Summary
As a part of this class i learned that Pancho Villa was born on June 5th 1878 was assassinated on July 20th 1923. Pancho Villa has always had this dream for his country, and that was to see his people succeed. Pancho Villa once said "Our country will never be rich, or great, or free until there is a complete stop to all types of communication with the United States." With this statement Pancho Villa made anything possible. Villa was known as a terrorist, but also known as a legendary bandit, or should I say, "The Mexican Robin Hood." I also learned that Pancho Villa fought in the revolts against Porfirio Diaz and Victoriano Huerta and fled Mexico in 1912. It wasn't that long before Villa returned and formed a military group of several thousand men. to make his performance. In the year of 1916 after executing 16 U.S. citizens in Santa Isabel, the President sent a General after Villa's run to catch him. Before his life being troubled with the law villa returned to the civilian life as a business man. Pancho Villa sacrificed and suffered many times for his country. Pancho Villa not only left his country on bad terms, but hopes that he taught his country well enough in order for his people to follow him in the same foot steps. Another fact I learned is that Pancho Villa's given name was Doroteo Arango, and the he got on the wrong side of the law a little too early. When Villa became of age to be his own man, his own role model, he declared freedom from his parents and became the notorious bandit in Chihuahua. He then joined a gang and took over the name Pancho Villa. On this long journey Pancho Villa may of not learned his lesson the first time or the second, but it may of took a serious issue in order for Villa to be laid down to rest. Pancho Villa's journey has finally ended. He was assassinated on June 20th 1923 in Parral, Mexico. Pancho Villa however will be forever and greatly remembered for his strength and bravery. Pancho Villa the legendary bandit.
